A medicine cat on the run from the wrath of her own clanmates, an apprentice stuck in the middle with a prophecy looming over her head, and five kits who all have great things planned for them. Featherstorm, Mosspetal's apprentice, is haunted by visions of fire and ice destroying the Clans. One day they are given a message by StarClan warning the she-cats of a threat looming on the horizon, and the fate of five newborn kits that they are currently caring for. Will Featherstorm be able to figure out what this prophecy means before it's too late? Or will the Clans be struck down by this unknown threat?
