A young girl is forced into marriage. When she runs away during her wedding day to escape the greedy man and abusive man that is to be her husband, she finds herself lost and stuck in the forest. Now she must survive in the wild alone or die trying.

A 17 year old boy named gideon sharp escapes to his favourive hiding place deep in the forest away from the abuse of the orphanages director. He wakes up in the middle of the night to his favourite fox yipping for help and finds it stuck in a trap. He fails to free the fox and ends up captured by strange creatures and taken away. what will happen now and will he and the fox be safe where they're going? find out more while reading.
