What if Makuta won in Bionicle the journey to one. Taking place after the last episode, Makuta has won, turning Okoto into an island of shadows and enslaving the Matoran. Gali is missing and the other Toa are scattered. All hope is lost, until two unknowns rise to chase away the shadows of Makuta... Note: I'm really REALLY taking creative liberties with the G2 continuity.

Eons after the Cybertronian wars, a distraught Megatron goes into hiding, overcome by the grief of his army's destruction. The now experienced Autobot Hotrod and the skilled engineer Wheeljack work together to progress Pretender technology, developing the first Beast Warriors. Meanwhile, Starscream bargains for his life yet again with mysterious forces.
