For several hundred years, mankind had been terrorised by titans, naked, metres tall, with a thirst for human flesh and blood. They built walls Sina, Rose and Maria as a final defense against the titans. Fifty years, another fifty, it didn't matter. Exactly 100 more years after not eating, the titans made their move. Possibly the most abnormal thing could've happened to Wall Maria. A colossal titan, tall as the 50 metre wall, simply kicked the gate down like it was nothing. A second abnormal, armoured, charged through the inner gate. There was no protection against the bloodthirsty titans. Refugees fled. There was a boat, only two boats, to carry the entire population of Shiganshina not already being devoured. Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert and Hika Ryuu, four older children and close friends, found each other on the boat. From that day on, they swore to become cadets. To become stronger.
