​SEASON 1 FLOW OF RED As the world ran out of energy and modern civilization collapsed, humanity discovered a new fuel to survive: their own erythrocytes. ​Now, every drop of blood is the primary source of power. Every transaction is a drain on life. Under the absolute control of a Hegemony with type O blood-the owner of the most wondrous power-a biological caste system was created through Hemo-cell generator machines. ​Humanity is cast aside, ruthlessness is legalized, all for the sake of an unshakeable order. ​Within the grand walls of the Citadel, peace and prosperity are successfully maintained.
