In the spirit of the season, we catch a glimpse at Hero Boy, who has defied his father's wishes to become a train conductor. Experience a day in his eyes as he tries to keep up the holiday spirit despite whatever his parents say. ('Tis the Season for a short story)

Chris/Hero Boy now has a family of his own. Two children who carry his DNA in his veins, and a lovely, hard-working wife who's heart is made of iron and steel. She is now at that stage where she believes equilibrium is unachievable, and is completely out of it during the holidays. However, on the night before Christmas Eve, Chris suggests she gets a good night's sleep. Her dream begins with an anomalous start. She wakes up to the sound of quarreling, engine screeches, and flashes of glistening light. A magical train appears , revealing a spectacled-man who claims to be taking children to the North Pole; the manifestation of her husband's fabrication used to put their children to sleep. Yet the Polar Express stood right in front of a pair of eyes that only seek truth. She ends up going on a journey that makes her realize why he believed all these years.
