Based off the movie Monkey King- Hero Is Back, so if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it, because it is a great movie, even though it's only loosely based off of the original story Journey to the West. Dialogue is based off the English Dub version of the film. Honestly, if you ever go to watch this film, I reccomend watching the original Mandarin Dub before the English Dub. :P None of the characters, excluding my self insert, belong to me. What if the true reason for Sun Wukong's angering of the Jade Emperor, was because he fell in love with the daughter of the Jade Emperor, Ruyi? Ruyi sacrificed her life for the Monkey King, so her father and Buddha would spare Sun Wukong's life. For her sacrifice, Buddha instead imprisoned Sun Wukong and prophecized Ruyi would be reincarnated as a mortal 500 years in the future, hoping that Sun Wukong and Ruyi would never cross paths again and fall in love.
