My family has powers, powers that aren't normal for planet earth. Of course my parents thought it was a good idea to move to earth. It's horrible here. We get called several names, because we are 'weird' and 'different'. Then some people start to find out that there actually is something different about us. Thirteen-year old Andy Murray has a problem. Addicted to smartphones, gadgets and social media channels his parents are at breaking point and they are encouraged to enroll him in the Murphy Quill Programme. The task now is to pick a country with bad wifi that will help break his addiction. They chose Egypt - a country that will open Andy to the world around him. Andy stays with the El-Shenawy family in Zamalek, Cairo and he soon takes up karate to help him deal with ruffians who see him as an easy target and want to hold him as a western hostage. However, Andy makes a lot of friends in his host country who will stand by him no matter what. Andy also attends an Egyptian school where he befriends other boys his age like Cairo and Sahat. During his stay in Egypt, Andy will see everything the country has to offer and when his own family visit at Christmas they will experience the journey of the Holy Family throughout the Egyptian countryside. He will also experience the Sinai, the pyramids at Giza, Cairo, feluccas on the Nile, Karnak, Luxor and Abu Simbel. Andy will also experience the thrill of other African countries whilst there - Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Meanwhile something called love is simmering between Asenath El-Shenawy and Andy. A sequel to ,Sorting out Charlie'. A YA set of stories. The third in the series 'Sorting out Cody' will be set in Scotland.
