Maybe everyone could see shadows, but as far as he knew, he was the only one capable of communicating with them. This might've been great if it didn't land him a spot amongst the people of a mental ward. After the incident he's on an even tighter leash than before. The only company he has now is his own shadow who he had tried to kill on multiple occasions. When it leads him to its home world and an uprising against their queen, he's certain the next time he tries, he won't fail.

Maybe you do know me, Maybe you will connect. Some might understand, While other won't even mind. I'll just explain how I feel, I'll explain my point of view. You might like what I write, But also hate it 'cause it's too true.

One can only take the years of head stuffed full of hateful words and turn it into something gross.
