When Roman tells Janus about these mysterious love letters he's been getting from a secret side named Ethan, he's immediately suspicious. After finding out the letters are fake, Janus does what he does best to keep Roman from finding out and having his heart broken--he lies.

Roman always dreamt of being a prince and marrying a prince would be the icing on the wedding cake. He is given the assignment to write a story about a fairy tale. He soon meets a boy similar to the prince in his story and feels the fantasy is becoming reality.

Again, this is a Sandersides roleplay me and my partner made randomly one day. We were bored and needed entertainment. So I'll do this before I feel like dying again(not literally.. well sort of literally.).

This AU is a mix of both a random piece of dialogue I felt inspired to write out of nowhere yesterday and an old AU I had long ago with some major changes. I am unaware of when I'll update this fic, hopefully I'll actually develop this story. For some context, this is a society where having special abilities is abnormal but not impossible. Roman works at a government agency that works to train people with superpowers, to be "heroes" who work for the government so they're like superheroes/secret agents. Logan is one of the people running the program Roman is a part of and therefore is technically his boss. Patton is only about a year older than Roman but is one of the older recruits and is Logan's unofficial right hand man as well as a mentor figure for some of the newer recruits. On the other hand, Virgil, Remus and Janus feel the government is corrupt and that agencies such as that are only there to control people. That and each of them has had bad firsthand experiences with the law either not caring about them or actively hurting them. This leads them to end up in situations where they're trying to undermine the law and have encounters with the heroes, they are seen as 'villians' but they only work to hurt the government and try to change society in unconventional ways but their objective is never to cause harm to the normal people just existing. So that's why, Janus decides to become a double agent and pretend to conform joining the agency where Roman works to slowly destroy it from the inside . The problem only arises when he realizes he maybe actually likes it here... more importantly he thinks maybe he likes Roman. Oh shoot.
