John Laurens and Eliza Schuyler meet in High School, they meet through classes they chose for their exams, they don't click immediately, both being unsure how to approach the other. They do become close in almost the blink of an eye when they see how close their friends are, recognising each other one day at lunch. In less than a month they are as close as can be, both doing well in school and in their friendship, but they start developing a mutual romantic liking for the other; both pushing it down despite knowing what they felt, because it wasn't worth ruining a friendship. They remained good friends, and picked up on mutual attraction between their friends and who their friends liked. they both made this their mission to get them all together, despite missing the obvious, they succeeded, well eventually, it took some longer than others to realise the situation was very real, and not a daydream. All while John and Eliza are in the midst of their matchmaking, all their friends are doing exactly that to them. Naturally they don't realise this until a game of, very investigative, truth or dare with their friends, where things take a turn for the best.
