The blistering cold of winter in Jóhannes' homeland had always brought discomfort, but this year promised something different. A blizzard arrives early, and there's something disconcerting about the black crags of the mountains. [This is a short story I wrote for a contest with a word limit. I've thought about extending it. Any thoughts on that are welcome!]
