Als Josy wieder in ihren Heimatort zieht, tritt sie wieder in Kontakt mit alten Freunden und verliebt sich unglücklich. Als sie dann noch eine schreckliche Diagnose bekommt wird ihr Leben zum Trümmerhaufen.

"I don't know how to say it. It just happened. I flunk out of school, but I can't say whether the things I have to do now are worse than school or not. Only one thing: I'm as impulsive as before... well but if even my director isn't corrupt anymore, you have to change something. But this isn't ME for sure!" Josy Lewis isn't a girl like the others. She doesn't assimilate and says her unadorned opinion. So it's all but inevitable that there isn't only positive reaction. But what will happen if she flunk out of school and has to accept a job which confronts her time by time painfully with her past? Can she manage to accomplish her most important goal or will she get broken by her memories? Please excuse my faults. I'm german and it would be nice if you read the story all the same :)
