Somehow, some way she is given a mission by the Third Hokage to assist Team 7 on their first C Rank Mission (as the team's teamwork is almost nonexistent ) as her "break" from the S Rank missions. Little did she know a C Rank turned A Rank awaits her with a rogue shinobi named Zabuza and a certain silver-haired jonin will soon be invading her mind and also, her heart. As she goes on the journey of life, team 7 discovers more about her, her weird Kekkei Genkai and why she is the only one they've seen use it.
