One sunny day, a rabbit and a tortoise decided to race in the forest. The rabbit laughed and said, "I'm the fastest. You'll never win!" The race began. The rabbit ran quickly but stopped to nap under a tree, thinking he had plenty of time. The tortoise kept moving slowly and steadily. When the rabbit woke up, the tortoise was near the finish line! He ran fast, but it was too late - the tortoise won. The rabbit learned a big lesson: never underestimate others, and always keep going. The End. #KidsStory #ShortStory #RabbitAndTortoise #ChildrenLesson #BedtimeStory rabbit, tortoise, race, forest, slow, steady, nap, win, lesson, children

This may sound crazy, but have you ever wondered what it would be like for your food to yell at you and tell you you can't eat him? Only someone special can? Well I'll tell you, the Granger family certainly didn't. But they didn't know the last brownie in the tray was a talking brownie. They didn't even know what those were. If they had they probably would have wondered that. My dad used to tell my siblings and I this story before we went to bed as well as others though this was the only one that stuck. It was my favourite story growing up and the story my dad found the dumbest. Though of course this isn't the original, I have added much to it to make it suitable to older kids as well, it still has the same story line that grew up loving and if you know any 2-6 year olds that you want to tell a story, this is the one.

Why should she?! Why must! Sometimes I don't even know who is to blame for what happened. I don't want to know why, I don't wanna hear. I don't even want to know what happened. But I miss her so much. - Vanessa Alexis, London.
