A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... It's been eighteen years since the defeat of THE GALACTIC EMPIRE at the hands of LUKE SKYWALKER and THE NEW REPUBLIC. In the peaceful time that's come as a result of balance being brought back to the Force, SKYWALKER and his allies have made serious efforts to maintain the order that's fallen over the galaxy. Shortly after their initial victory, SKYWALKER began to work alongside fellow Force user, KYLE KATARN, and other Force Sensitive beings to rebuild the once forgotten JEDI ORDER under the guidance of the NEW REPUBLIC. With the temple reopening on CORUSCANT, SKYWALKER and KATARN began to accept students to train in the ways of the Force in order to preserve the legacy of the masters who came before them. Four years after the destruction of the second DEATH STAR, Senator LEIA ORGANA and General HAN SOLO welcomed two fraternal twins -- a boy named JACEN and a girl named JAINA. After it was discovered early on that both of them were sensitive in the ways of the Force like their mother, their parents had them both enrolled in their uncle's academy with JAINA becoming the Padawan of their aunt, MARA JADE SKYWALKER, while JACEN began training directly under their uncle. All seems right in the galaxy, as the NEW REPUBLIC and the JEDI ORDER slowly begin to move their forces back into the OUTER RIM in an effort of to establish those worlds as a part of the new government. However, unknown to even LUKE SKYWALKER himself, new SITH WARRIORS train and grow stronger every day under the guidance of a mysterious being known only as THE DARKMOTHER. And as this secret conflict grows, the IMPERIAL REMNANTS that have gone into hiding in the OUTER RIM strategically plotting a full scale attack on the homeworld of the NEW REPUBLIC...

Jedi Knight Qu Rahn, a General in the Grand Army of the Republic, long before the adventures of Kyle Katarn, has spent the last three years fighting Separatist forces for the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Deployed to the mid-rim sieges, he finds himself on a battle ridden planet that hasn't realized the war they were fighting so hard for, ended only days before. Unable to contact for reinforcements, Rahn and his forces battle on as their numbers are whittled to only a few. But truth inevitably reveals itself, a chase ensues, and unlikely allies just might be the Jedi's only hope for survival. This is a fan fiction project. For years she knew she was different, she could feel things no one else could. But her gift lays mostly dormant until one morning, she shows her uncle something that should be impossible: she's built a fully functioning lightsaber without any formal Jedi or Force training. Knowing that Jaden deserves more than a small life in the big city, her uncle has her sent to the Jedi Academy to foster her talents. But on her first day at the Academy, Jaden encounters something strange, something dark and sinister. When she's rendered unconscious by this event, she wakes to find she's changed, and maybe not for the better; like something dark has taken root inside her soul. When she starts her training, she finds herself excelling surprisingly fast, much to the chagrin of her new friend and training partner, Rosh Penin, resulting in an unwanted rivalry. With everything she's dreamed of having on the line: A caring mentor, friendships and the freedom to use her powers, Jaden must resist the pull of the dark side and face a deadly Sith Cult head on. Or will her potential fall from the Light cause not only the deaths of those she's come to love and care for, but of those of the entire Academy as well?
