Y/N L/N is a female cat-hellhound hybrid who joins Halley Labs, where she encounters many aliases tied to the underground music scene. It's there that she notices two hellhounds in particular-figures connected to Emma Essex (Lapfox), the creator behind Halley Labs and the record label itself. Backstory Y/N was exiled from Hell alongside Truxton-cast out for being too much for Hell's standards. Truxton was deemed far too positive, far too loud, far too alive. Both were still young hellhounds when they were banished, left to wander the surface world in constant need of energy drawn from the souls of the living just to survive. To blend in, Y/N and Truxton adopted the guise of mashup DJs, traveling the world and performing at illegal underground parties. They lived off the raw energy emitted by the crowds-the heat, the noise, the movement-feeding on the atmosphere they created. They became drifters. Always moving. Never settling. Keeping acquaintances instead of friends. Even after living for over a hundred years, Y/N and Truxton remains the life of the party-obscenely upbeat, outgoing, and difficult to handle in large doses. When not performing in the surface world, she and Truxton reside in the sewers, far from prying eyes. As a hobbyist builder, Y/N assembles makeshift weapons crafted from musical equipment-speakers, wires, turntables, anything she can salvage. Eventually, both she and Truxton join Halley Labs, reconnecting with their longtime friend Eugene Takyon, unaware of how much their lives-and hearts-are about to change.
