For three months, Ebony's school has been closed due to a rebuild, and when she returns, she thinks it will be the same, with her best friend Isla, who loves her like a sister, and her favourite teacher, Mrs Bleu, who promised her to never leave. However time is a cruel, selfish being that changes a lot of things. Is Isla really her best friend? Did Mrs Bleu keep her promise? Did Ebony ever find her real sister? Read on to see what happens.

This is a story I wrote for English work just after we left school. I am or was in year 11, and like so many others we had 2 days to say our final goodbyes to our school. My teacher requested creative writing and so I wrote this, I hope you like it, this is really close to me as I wrote everything I felt at the time.
