She knows Demi is not mad at all, although Demi is self distructive, she has scratches on her face and cuts on every part of her body. But Demi somehow feels a strange connection blooming between her and Selena, which she knew about since the first day they met.

After 6 years of being together, Selena and Demi now live together in Boston and try to live a normal life. Despite Selena's abnormality and Demi's passion for kickboxing, it seems to work out well. Until they decide to take a trip to New York, where things take a new dark turn. Selena meets the Anti-Pack. Are there more Penariks like Selena?

The World Order had started a war with DNA. Many troops were sent to casual cities to murder each and everyone with the gene. The gene that had only occurred a few decades ago. It was seen as a disease, a mistake of mankind, a sign of evil. Due to fear of the unknown and the appearing racism in the several states throughout the world, its population had turned against the innocent. Those innocents were given the name 'The Careless Ones' and all they could do was flee, pray, and roam with the never-to-be-answered question why their skin was being intruded by growing amounts of blue spots. Selena soon learned to understand she had to flee from her Careless-hating father and the troops after several spots had appeared on her jaw. She met Demi, who had been covered in spots for as long as she could remember. Her only goal was to protect her little sister who had received the same fate. Selena and Demi found love, realizing the only thing that brought them together were those very same blue spots.

Since they were seven years old, Demi and Selena have been best friends, both growing up and dealing with the difficulties of fame together. Since 2011, Demi going to rehab and Selena starting to date Justin, nothing between the pair has been the same. They grew more distant. But, nothing about Selena's clouded feelings for her have changed. Selena loves Justin, but something about being with him doesn't feel right. Demi believes she's in love with her long time boyfriend, Wilmer, but like Selena, her feelings are clouded. All they have are 14 years to help them figure this out.

She wanted to save everyone. Every person. Every man, woman and child that ever needed her. But when it was time for her to retire, she was pulled back in. She had one last job. Her mission, to save the girl.
