He enlists his best friends and the twin sons of Jace Herondale and Clary Fray- Malec and Johnathan- to help him track down a secret serum made to alter the brain that Jadis has sent her assassin, Maro, and her demon henchmen, Nazar, after. The serum, however, complicates things even furthur. Katherine Holmes- the witty daughter of detective Sherlock Holmes- never believed in fairy tales or anything of that sort, but her perspective on everything changes when she is taken and transported to a different world along with a secret serum that the two most dangerous kingdoms ever to stand are after. New Faces, new mysteries, and new friends- all would be wiped away in a universe ruled by the White Witch. Ezra hides a secret piece of the puzzle- but will he trust his family with it?

Sometimes, Rafael just didn't feel he deserved to have a family, they knew. Sometimes he still thought that at some point Magnus and him would decide that they didn't want him anymore and throw him back onto the streets. This was one of those times.
