After Kayo left the boat after a trouble-some experience, she finds a new job at an inn/restaurant called Amai Tebaru, she's very clumsy at times and breaks many plates and bowls. Her eyes see the old man, and follow him. The solitary Kusuriuri gains a companion in his otherwise solitary life. However, this young lass of a child, seems to hold a number of secrets, her mind appearing seemingly unreachable, possibly holding a frightening amount of dark wisdom.
