a collection of short stories, some of them my own experiences, and some of them conglomerates of many peoples of experiences, about what it's like to be ABC (American Born Chinese) or otherwise Asian in America. (whether it is my experience or a conglomerate has nothing to do with what perspective the story is written in). more stories when I find the time to write!

A book that basically talks about what's wrong with society or more specific this Generation. This book is written not from a place of hate or anything related to that. It's simply just stated fact/ the elephant in the that most people don't want to talk about.

Knox Francis Christian finds herself overworked and underappreciated after dropping out of college. She's an adult now and alone, which means living her adult life and working for ends meet. After encountering a... strange customer, Knox's life has the opportunity to transform overnight. Only if she relinquishes control and falls into the golden hands of a sick, rich man. But riches are at the crux of all her problems. And she isn't quite alone anymore. A reality like this should make life worth living. Unless it can get even sweeter than this. Or: CEO and Y/N fantasy without the fantasy. What do you do when a man with everything offers you the answer to all your problems, and for a low price too: your love? You accept it, because you need, and hope, to fall in love with him. You can't though, his shadow is lowkey, hotter and less chud. But he can also ruin your life so be careful.

Dakota Baker was your average African American 15-year-old girl. That is, until she got accepted into Campbell. The Campbell Institute was one of the most renowned high schools in Wyoming. Only the smartest and most talented were permitted to go there. Dakota didn't think much of it when she got waitlisted, but once she got accepted, everything changed. She's thrown into an environment where racism and fetishization of cultures are normalized concepts. The lack of color in the school doesn't make things easier either. As a result, she finds herself wondering if she truly belongs at Campbell with the other prodigies. However, as time passes by, Dakota manages to unite with the other POC's in her year: Josh Hall, Jin Wu, and Mia Rodriguez. Together, they face off the struggles of being a person of color.
