Ember, an orphan girl who is raised by an imaginary friend called Scarlet, or so she thinks Scarlet is all in her head. When Embers peaceful world collides with that of the Elementals, she is forced into unknown territory. Will the cruelty, cannibalising, torturing and mass homicides overwhelm her, or make her stronger than she could have ever even imagined?
