This story is about a couple who live in Minsk, Belarus. Whilst it is a short story with a tragic end, I have tried to stretch it as much as possible with minimal loss to the storyline.

The capitals are curious about the history of those that came before them. Three of the capitals use their magic to help them learn, but they somehow end up in the past. It's up to them to try and get back to their time before they end up dying for all the wrong reasons.
