Uju Smith is a student at Hope University and she only just wants to keep her head down until she graduates. Simi Gabriel is willful with a strong sense of justice and can never ignore someone in distress. Polar opposites yet best friends, they live in the same apartment off campus. Simi's well-intentioned meddling made her more enemies than friends and when one day, one of these came for her, it was Uju that ended up in a pool of her own blood, half-dead. A "crazed scientist", a serum, and a few months later, Uju wakes up with powers - telekinesis and telepathy. They say great power comes with great responsibility. Is Uju willing to accept the responsibilities that come with her powers?

The Incans said that Stone held the spirits of the ancestors. They may have been more right than we thought. Gwen Conning returns to her roots and comes back to her hometown of Hythe, Rhode Island. There, she finds that "there's something rotten in the state of Denmark". Gwen gets pulled into a plot of the paranormal and the simply not-so-normal. Hythe is such a strange town, God knows how she didn't notice it before.
