(by @SapphireSpeaks) She said, "Speak now or stay silent forever." So I stepped up to the mic- voice shaking, soul leaking, and told the truth anyway. These ain't just poems. These are survival spells. Confessions with cracked teeth. Love letters written in the dark. Pain turned into power. Faith that limps, but still walks. If you've ever wanted to scream but only had ink, this is for you. Snap if it hits. Stay if it heals.

All Herman wanted was to live in his castle alone, but when health and safety laws force him out he is forced to live a life of stand-up comedy in the town below his castle. Possessing no skill whatsoever in the art of comedy, he runs from bar to nightclub to bar again. That is, till a seedy little poetry club takes him in for his “raw” talent behind the mic and deep back story filled with emotional turmoil. To get through his dark spot in life he relies on a bar waitress who is hopelessly in-love and a compassionate historical society member. Herman is also being violently attacked by the local Church Choir for allegations of witchcraft and sorcery.

Prequel: Origami Odd Octavia Carter Elliot, AKA Rain, has been seeing Ellis her therapist for a while now. It started after her older brother Scott died in a car accident. Since then her life has taken a hard turn for the worst. After her therapist suggested she try using a pen name to write to her Ex, River Caldwell, he ended up finding out who she really was, and now she back in the state she was beforehand. She has been drowning in her own little world since her twin sister and then her friend Jay’s death, but more than ever it seems she is lost to deep and downing in herself. Will she ever get out? Will she ever make amends with River? Can she stop herself from sinking on her own? This is the true Carter Elliot.

If you find a discarded pile of poems, like leaves withered from a tree, would you jump in it and cherish the crisp, or perhaps stomp your feet upon them and feel them crinkle and wrinkle? Or maybe you'll walk away, because you see dead foliage everywhere, it's autumn after all. Or would you take them in, trace them, paint over them and create art from a leaf that passed away in the process of the dance of seasons? So here you have the Poet-tree, a living representation of the inner feelings expressed by various people, and it changes the way your mind does, by the push of the seasons and the wind of evolution. The Poet-tree grows day by day, spouting leaves and branches, but dropping much of so. Full of words and phrases, emotions someone would never speak, and then you take a picture. Purely because a picture is worth a thousand words.

"As if by some hellish deed he did as a child coming back to haunt him, Ryan's brain waits as his manager's words fully register in his mind finally, before turning on the freak out button. "You want me to do WHAT?!" (Inspired by this lovely moment below as captured by Tumblr user @rosewell-newton-vargas)
