Petunia Patil Mason the Fourth, otherwise known as Four, is a hockey player. A girl on the all-boys hockey team at her school, and that means she has to work harder than anybody else on the team. But that's not the problem at hand. When she is asked to substitute as a figure skating partner for her coach's nephew, how can she not accept? After all, he was the one that convinced the principal to let her on the team; so she says yes. The ordeal is as bad as she thought it would be. Her ice partner is a moody, grumpy boy her age that contradicts everything she does. To make matters worse, all the girls at school are shooting her daggers because they think that there is something going on between her and her stupid, jerky partner. But as time wears on and the skating competition nears, they start to see a different side of each other; the competitive side. They need to both put their pride and prejudice aside and hopefully, survive the icy heat of competition.
