As Dr. Ryland Grace is laid to rest, Rocky approaches Eva Stratt with an ultimatum.

Ryland Grace has spent the last 5 years on Erid when a spaceship crash lands. Eridians gather around to see inside and notice a human-like creature, like Grace. Except, this isn't a normal human. Senita, hailing from planet Brindley, lost in space finds herself on Erid among rock-like creatures and one human man. Ryland and Senita, both loners in their own way, find friendship, adventure and something deeper as they journey back to Earth, only to discover Ryland wasn't placed on the Hail Mary by chance ... and that Senita may know far more about Earth's fate and her connection to it than she is letting on.... Ryland Grace wakes up with no memory of who he is or why he's 11.9 lightyears away from home. The mission is clear long before everything else is, save humanity. Thea Nyx remembers everything, Thea remembers the mission details, the home she left behind, Earth, and most of all she remembers Ryland Grace. The two team up with Rocky to save their respective suns, Thea carries the weight of her memories while Grace works to get his back. Piece by piece, memory by memory, it's all starting to come back into place. Thea hopes maybe this time, something will change. The accident happened as they were leaving Adrian; Rocky is still unconscious, and Grace is doing everything he can to clear his head while waiting for his friend to wake up. As for the young Mandragorian, he hasn't fully recovered from the injury he sustained in the accident. The two of them are trying to learn a little more about each other while Rocky sleeps, still right beside them... I discovered the world of Project Hail Mary, and I have to say I'm completely hooked... I haven't had a chance to read the book yet, but don't worry-I'll be getting to it soon! And since I have a story of my own in the works, I came up with a crossover between my universe and that of Hail Mary. I tried to stay as true to the original story as possible, and I apologize if there are any mistakes... P.S.: English isn't my first language, so I apologize for any typos. To give you a simple background, my character, named Samaël, comes from a planet that looks similar to Earth but is called Mandragor. Samaël is a young elite soldier highly skilled in combat. He is a serious young man who often puts others before himself. And to fit into the PHM universe, I imagined that Mandragor's star was also dying, so a crew was sent to Tau Ceti to find a solution. But an accident occurred, and Samaël found himself all alone. It was on the way to Tau Ceti that Grace and Rocky stumbled upon him and saved him. The rest is the rest of the story, with another alien by Grace's side. I want to make it clear that this is just my idea, and if you don't like it, then don't read it. This is just a first draft, and if you like it, maybe I'll write more.

"rocky, i..." his voice trembled, small and fragile. "i don't know if i can do that anymore... i don't know if i want to live anymore..." he felt rocky's hand stutter against his back. "what grace talking about, question?" rocky asked, something wary slipping into his tone. ryland hesitated, teeth pressing into his lower lip. he didn't know if he should say it, didn't know if it was right, introducing something like this to a species that might not even have a concept for it. but rocky felt safe. like he could say anything, and rocky would stay. - OR. three months on erid but ryland still struggles with food, he figures out perhaps it isn't really from the scarcity of it. project hail mary - grace & rocky jiliax 2026 🌌
