Ryland Grace is unnerved to discover ANOTHER intelligent alien species. And to make things worse: This one looks just like him. - This is a retelling of the events of Project Hail Mary with an original alien character added. It will diverge from canon a lot. Watching or reading Project Hail Mary is unfortunately a pre-requisite, as this story begins partway through Grace's journey. (Crossposted to AO3)

Just a PHM ff heavily following the movie (haven't read the book yet, maybe will write another fic once I finally get the time and energy to pick it up) What if Grace wasn't alone? What if, along with him, one other person survived? That too being a teen prodigy (hah, real original, I know), who is maybe just a tad more distrustful compared to Grace.
