Plague-doctor Stories

this is a darkest dungeon tribute based off of a reference from the game. some fluff i made up the characters are based on the classes but the characters are my own. the theme is an old journal of an old adventure was found and read by our highway man protagonist. this is a short story , with a tad of horror a pinch of romance in a large adventurous tale. have fun, if you don't like it read something else. warning : not the best speller and this book has a lot of like weapons and stuff so it might be triggering to some. (anybody that got the pun gold star for you )

Amelia Pembrook is a plague doctor turned monster hunter in a world that hates her for it. When the black death hit the British isles, most people succumbed to it. Others weren't as lucky, for the plague latched on to folk myths and tales and the stories that people had heard and twisted the people it infected into monsters. Plague hunters hunt such monsters, When they are not taking care of the sick and dying they are chasing down rumors and following trails to deal with the monsters using their skills to find ways to deal with the many types they had come across. One such Rumor has led Amelia to Lancaster, following the rumors of a house that appeared out of nowhere after being burned down, with people seemingly vanishing out of thin air when they walk down the street the house was on. Now, Amelia must confront not just the monsters of myth, but the darkest truths of humanity. Will she survive, or will the house claim her too?

SCP 049, other wise known as the 'Plague Doctor', was locked away after he had "Cured" one of the interrogating Scientists. Due to this, he was locked away in his cell to rot. At first, they still spoke to him through speakers, but even after a while those stopped. What happened? This is a (hopefully short) story of the SCP Foundation ark, but will be placed in an Alternate TimeLine with some SCP's being Tampered ( a SCP that would usually be Passive may turn Feral or an non sentient being will gain human Intelligence.) so due to this, don't try to learn anything that isn't on the Foundation's page, as I have put my own personal taste in it.
