No one except for Merlin, the serving boy to the King's son, Prince Arthur. Among those Merlin warns is the sorceress Forridel, a citizen of the Lower Town. Forridel spreads the message, taking with her fellow fugitives as she escapes the kingdom. If there was but one hideout the sorcerers should never have discovered, luck would corner them right at its entrance.
