Yujin has always felt safer behind screens and book pages than with people. Friendship, to her, was something others seemed to understand but she never quite could. Then one winter, a school project forces her into a group with classmates who couldn't be more different-Herin, the perfectionist; Jimin, the confident traveler; Soobin, Taesan, and Hanul, each in their own quiet orbit. What begins as just another assignment slowly turns into something unexpected: shared laughter, late-night talks, and the first small steps toward belonging. Between pages, people, and a trip that changes everything, Yujin starts to learn what friendship really means-and how it begins.

Stories, we've all heard or read a story at least once in our lives. Within these stories are worlds that we can only dream of, and when we get sucked into these worlds, it sucks to return back to our little dull reality. A reality of which has no creatures as the ones in the worlds of these stories, a reality that doesn't share that wondrous beauty as the worlds of the stories, just a dull and boring reality. But thinking about it, to the residents of those worlds, our world would be a dream or 'fantasy' for them. Honestly, those worlds are more nightmares for some, rather than a dream. So what if said 'nightmare' became one's new reality, especially one who considers a fantasy world a nightmare. Well you'll find out... Author's Note: Any advice, criticism, or just tips would be appreciated, as it'd help me get better at writing and helps me create a better reading experience for you. P.S: Credit belongs to the original creators of the images, videos, gifs, or characters I use in this story (unless I explicitly state that a character, image, gif, or video is mine).

In a quiet town that rarely changed, there lived a boy named Aeris. He wasn't loud. He wasn't invisible. He just... was. He drifted between places like a thought not yet spoken-always watching, always wondering, never quite belonging. Aeris had three faces. Β©All rights reserved. A tragic romance told from the wrong side of the truth. He never asked to be the villain. He never wanted to be remembered like that. Quiet, kind, and distant, he had long given up on searching for meaning in life-until one ordinary day, when he crossed paths with the new girl everyone whispered about. Cold. Detached. Untouchable. But she wasn't what they said, and neither was he. Drawn together by silence, secrets, and shared scars, their story unfolds like a slow-burning match-delicate and dangerous. But love has its price. And sometimes, the one who sacrifices the most becomes the one the world blames. In the end, he did the one thing he swore he never would. And for that, they called him a monster. But monsters feel too. And this... was his side of the story.

Aaron has been at his new school for a week. Nobody knows his name. Nobody looks at him when he walks through the halls. He keeps his head down, does his time, and goes home to an empty house. The only living thing that notices him is a stray dog that waits at his gate every morning. Aaron feeds him the egg yolk he doesn't eat and a couple of biscuits. It's not much, but the dog never complains. He never named him. Giving something a name means getting attached, and getting attached means something that can be taken away. It's easier this way. Being invisible. Watching from the outside. Not caring. But one morning on the bus, a girl wakes him up. A senior. She doesn't just call him out for sleeping in the priority seat. She looks at him like she's already figured something out. Like she's been watching longer than he realized. Aaron has spent a long time making sure no one looks too closely. He's about to learn that some people look anyway.

Some stories don't end with heartbreak. They end with silence. This is about someone I never became friends with... but should have. Not a lover. Not an enemy. Just a presence that felt too familiar to ignore - and too distant to hold. We shared hallways, glances, unspoken thoughts. I thought they didn't notice me. Turns out, they noticed everything. And by the time I understood what their silence meant, mine had already done the damage. This isn't a love story. It's a story about regret. About the kind of friendship that never bloomed - but stayed rooted in memory. About timing, ego, fear... and the price of not saying hello soon enough. If you've ever missed someone you never really had, this story might feel like it was written for you.

Eunji has always kept to the shadows, letting her silence speak for her. After losing her mother, she built walls around her heart, too afraid to let anyone in. Now, a quiet observer of her own life, Eunji struggles to understand who she is in a world that feels like it's moving on without her. When an unexpected connection forces her to face the emotions she's long buried, Eunji must decide whether to stay hidden in her safe, silent world or take a leap into the unknown-into a life where she can truly feel again. If Only You Knew is a slow-burning story about healing, self-discovery, and the love that waits just beneath the surface, ready to bloom when she's ready to open up.

Kihan Haneul lives in the quiet spaces between anxiety and escape, where the weight of unspoken fears presses heavier than the night. When sleep becomes both a refuge and a risk, the line between peace and oblivion begins to blur. This story is inspired by my own personal experience with anxiety and unhealthy coping. Please remember: what Kihan does in this story is dangerous and should never be imitated. If you're struggling, reach out - there is help, and there are safer ways to find peace. For anyone who has ever wanted the world to go quiet - you are not alone.

The world changes with his thoughts. Shadows of the past resurface. And some truths refuse to stay buried. But even the most vivid dream has to end.
