And so it has always been, the eternal dance between hope and despair, a constant tug of war between light and darkness. The world is a vast and sometimes unforgiving place, but it is also full of surprises and wonder. From the tallest mountains to the deepest oceans, from the most bustling cities to the most isolated towns, there is always something new to discover. In this world, heroes come in many forms - a friend who lifts us up when we fall, a stranger who shows us kindness in the darkest of times, a family member who stands by us no matter what. These heroes may not wear capes or possess exceptional power, but they embody the human spirit, that indomitable will to rise above the challenge, no matter the odds. It is in their resilience and perseverance that we find inspiration, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope. Like the first ray of sunshine after a storm, hope is a powerful force that keeps us going, that drives us to rise, no matter how many times we fall. As we step into this world of mystery, let us remember that we are not alone. Let us hold onto the hope that heroes are always born, that even in the darkest of times, a glimmer of light can brighten our way. Racism. A COLLLOSAL issue constantly faced by people of colour within today's society. Read with me as I discuss racism through the eyes of a south Asian teenage girl. Being a teenager is hard already, there is so much to think about like school, grades, friendships, drama, relationships - we don't need racism to add to our problems. Unfortunately that's the reality of this world, I'm just here to figure out how to face it. Join me on my journey to figure out what to do when faced with racial- bias, let me warn you it's going to be messy. It isn't your stereotypical coming of age story, it will be hard. But what in life isn't? Ignorance isn't bliss but I can assure you education is power.
