Set during GX season 3, when they are in the other dimension for the first time. Jaden Yuki pursues Marcel into the cave, hoping to prevent him from getting ahold of the three Sacred Beast cards. However, the Sacred Beasts have decided that Jaden is the only one worthy to wield them. Jaden meets them in a surprising way, and an equally surprising friendship is born.

This is a total re-write of the Yu-Gi-OH GX anime, with both old and new cards included, and major plotline alterations (more Sacred Beast relevance, for example).

Jaden sits in class and begins to fall asleep during one of professor Crowler's lectures. Suddenly, all color drains from the sky and lightning strikes. An earthquake begins and all the students and teachers leave the school. Then the Sacred Beast Cards reemerged from their chamber. Uria Siblings Michael and Alice join forces with Kasumi sisters Wisteria and Pearl to form Team Sacred for the World Racing Grand Prix (WRGP). Wielding the 3 Sacred Beast cards (Uria, Hamon, and Raviel), which are the namesakes of Team Sacred, the 4 of them taken on all comers. Team Sacred also befriends Team 5ds (Yusei Fudo, Jack Atlas, Crow Hogan, Akiza Isinski, Leo, and Luna) and finds themselves dealing with the threat of the mysterious group Yliaster.
