Owl was on the brink of death, already in Sky Meadow when she was given a second chance. Waking up, she starts a new life with strange new powers thanks to a string of glittering jewels. Not soon after she settles in, she meets a black he-wolf with a jewel necklace, and a new she-wolf soon follows, with a necklace of her own. Will they find out why they were brought together? (Cover made by me using Pic Collage and Background Eraser. Pictures from Pixabay.) FINISHED Warning: This was my first book and it is now nearly three years old. Please excuse the poor writing!

Ren Dark was never popular-but popularity is overrated anyway. Friendless, ignored, bullied. Even her last of kin, her older brother named Colton, despises her. In every attempt to remain positive, she is shattered back into darkness, back into doubt, back into the storm. After running for her life, Ren attempts to rake up the pieces; except, this time, she's not alone. [This story has been created with the intended purpose of starting cliché to show the later contrast of the plot. It is a technique used to expand the character's depth; please understand that this was originally written as mere writing practice and a release for writer's block, so updates may be slow and sporadic. Also, this is written purely for my own exploration of a werewolf character.]

We don't write books about wolves. We write books about a fantasy. Wolves aren't noble or courageous. There are no Alpha pairs, Betas or Omegas. When wolf pack leader Warg tries to embody the romantic notion humans have of wolves things quickly spiral out of control. Honour and nobility take hold, causing the wolves to starve through the winter, be murdered by enemy wolves and led astray by a fake prophecy that promises to bring them salvation, their leader hiding the one that spells their doom. Snow, an unsatisfied daughter of the Alpha leaves her pack - attempting to restore the Old Life. This will prove to be a challenge, as Snow was very young when Warg changed the pack. But she hears of stories, stories that tell of the Old Life, and teach her what she needs to know. And she begins to wonder - who can she trust? Written with a unique style and layout that tries to simulate a wolf's thought patterns; To Construct A Wolf delves into our human vision of wolves and how it contrasts with how wolves actually live.
