This is going to be a story about a girl named Lilianna. But she's of course not the average, typical girl. She is a Pravus, just like Vladimir Tod. What will become of this girl and her new adventures in reality?

(ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE) Tracy Adams loves to run and finds comfort in running at the local Alamo running trail where she can watch people go about their days. Lately though there has been a new comer on the trail, Ethan McHale and Tracy can't stand the cocky self centered jerk. When Ethan falls for her she'll not only be running for fun but also from love. Can she out run such a powerful force? Maybe with the help of book savvy Gywn Kelly she can. Join Tracy on her run from love and towards self discovery. Characters in this story are based on the author and real people she knows and are used with permission.

This was another short story piece I did for a university assignment; we had to analyze '8 Mile' written by Scott Silver and take any inspiration from this story - whether it be a character, a scene, a sentence - and create our own story to either expand on '8 Mile' with a version of the story from another character's perspective, or the same characters but in a different environment, etc. - you get the picture. We were given the structure of '8 Mile' and allowed essentially total freedom. I chose to write the story from a female point of view - analyzing how if Jimmy Smith was a woman, how would the circumstances have changed. What would a woman's story be if she were to be stuck within Jimmy's environment; how her choices would differ, how her life would be altered, how she would even think, with the impediment of her social status affecting all decisions. The choice of grammar and style of writing was fully intentional, I found it was an excellent way of allowing the reader to delve deeply into the character's mind - what she was thinking and how she was thinking; it also forces the reader directly into her life, seeing her world the way she does, feeling about it the way she does, becoming a ghost as easily as she does.
