A sometimes nervous, caring boy who takes her into his care. When they both develop feelings quickly Sam decides to start over. From then on she lives a normal life the way she's always wanted. But what if the past catches up with her? What happens when one day she finds her dad on her doorstep? or someone following her wherever she goes?

"I Used to Think" is about a man who used to overcomplicate things in his life, until he realized that life is more fulfilling the less you think about uncontrolled outcomes.

"How We Survive" is a raw spoken word piece about the daily reality of African youth - the dreamers, the hustlers, the believers who keep building hope out of hardship. It's for the ones who grew up on generator noise and ambition, who turn pain into poetry and struggle into strength. This isn't just survival - it's resilience, it's fire, it's us. Because Africa raised fighters, not quitters.

Life is full of surprises. We get everything we need by looking at the right places. Through the eyes of Shantel's father, we observe how life serves us with different experiences. Some test our resolve to endure the harshest seasons, while others make us live knowing that we are limited as per nature's provisions. Nonetheless, love is the strongest emotion that beats all odds, and he finds love in love as he takes us through his painstaking duty as a loving father and husband despite his wife's illness. His sacrifices in life lead to an unexpected sacrifice in return. He finds love in love.
