Riley has looked up to Val for a long time now and wants to become like her or even better! She loves how Val is a sweet, kind, caring, loving, and understanding person! But suddenly Riley feels these weird emotions whenever around Val causing her to act weird or stumble her words around Val, what could these emotions mean? On the other hand Val has also been feeling the same weird feelings, but refuses to believe that she actually likes Riley! Their friends and she only sees Riley as a freind..or does she?

Riley confesses to having a crush on Val, but Val has bad news for her younger friend. I loved this film and wanted to do a fanfic for it. That said, I absolutely don't ship them personally, but I liked the idea of writing an angsty crush rejection fic. Also, I know nothing about Hockey.
