--- πŸ“– To Kill a Solstice An enemies-to-lovers romantasy full of dragons, daggers, and deadly politics. In a realm scorched by ancient grudges, two kingdoms teeter on the edge of war. Tahlia Solstice, heir to the flame-forged kingdom of Helioria, rides dragons, commands fire, and doesn't hesitate to draw blood when her people are threatened. Feral, proud, and dangerously impulsive, she is the last person who'd ever ask for peace. Zephyrin Ashvale, the dead prince of shadow-laced Ashvania, walks like a ghost and kills like a myth. Sent to assassinate the princess and end the conflict in one clean strike, he fails - not because he missed, but because something in her fire calls to what's left of his soul. When Tahlia demands a political summit between their kingdoms, neither expects to sit across from the other - or that the truce may be more dangerous than the battlefield. As daggers hide behind smiles, and dragons watch from the skies, a deeper threat begins to stir in the shadows. One that neither flame nor steel can stop alone. Because sometimes... to kill a solstice, you must first understand what keeps it burning. ---

Myerdden is a trained assassin taken in by King Jonathan at a young age. He is the last of his race. On a mission to kill the rivaling king, Loholt, a shocking truth comes up upon meeting Emalin, a half-faerie orphan, turning everything he has ever been taught into confusion. I'm back! I know. Sorry for that long break. I couldn't think. I suck at descriptions but this turned out okay... I also would like a different title. I will take suggestions in the comments so the title may change often. This is also a draft so I will be accepting criticism. However, if you point out something wrong, I want to hear how you would fix it so I have some idea as how to make it not confusing. I can seem confusing in my writing and my goal is to tell you a story, not to confuse you. Grammar critiques are welcome. Let me know of plot holes or illogical storylines.

"You ungrateful little -" "I'm sorry !" I yelled trying to stop the blood gushing from his body as best I could. "You did this on purpose! And for what?" His mother yelled , stalking closer. I gripped my hand over her's as I watched him gasp for air. "I didn't mean it." I said trying my best to get back to him , to help him. But she was too determined, too set in her ways to see that. "I'm sorry! Just let me help him , please. " I pleaded. I watched as his head rolled to the side while my screams was what followed next. It was like I was a ghost looking down at the scene. Him lying lifeless , his mother and my father rushing towards us while I kneeled beside him crying and grabbing at his blood stained shirt while they took him away. It was the worst I've ever felt and no amount of " I'm sorry's" was going to fix this . Believe me, I tried. **** Marrying for love has always been Adelaide's goal in life. Princess Lamia has always sworn that her duty to her kingdom, Niveria, must come before everything else. She was raised to carry the weight of diplomacy on her shoulders, to calm storms in courtrooms, and to quiet her own desires if it meant peace for her people. Even if it meant sacrificing everything. Even if it meant she could never inherit the throne. Crown Prince Milo of Avira has long lived behind silent walls. He moves through his kingdom with quiet conviction, speaking only when necessary, feeling only in secret. His heart has never belonged to anyone, not with the truths he has been forced to bury. But when he first met her at eighteen, under an old tree with her hair ruffling in the wind, something in him shifted. And for years, he would remember that moment. A flicker of warmth he had no name for. A hope he did not dare speak aloud. Now, at twenty-seven, their kingdoms have chosen peace through a political union. Lamia must carry out her duty, even if it means marrying the enemy. And Milo, for the first time in his life, has been granted something he never thought he could deserve. "Just like a revelation, the clouds broke free. There it saw the garden's only flower, Waiting for love to call its name."
