"William? William?" Daniel shook William back and forth violently, it was like he was in a trance. The car quickly rocketed off the bridge into the ocean, a rush of panic settled in Daniels bones. "William what are you doing?" Daniel glanced back to see Aurora still knocked out, he wondered if she was just dead, she'd been knocked out long enough for it to seem so.

You probably don't want to read this. You want to know why? Because it's about how your stupid creations were smarter than you. Because it's about how the stupidity of the human race led to its own destruction. So good job. And lucky me because as far as I know, I'm the last one left. But my goal is to bring the robots who took over to justice. Screw that...I want revenge. They killed my parents. They drove my grandmother to insanity. They're the reason I'm all alone. And I'll be damned if I'm going to die without a fight.

Lily Lou hates pretty much everything. She hates the aggressive mood and smoldering hatred in the air above each head and behind each eye. She hates the smothering smog that chokes and clogs and kills. She'd like nothing more than to escape in any way she can. Then there's Cino. Too smart for his own good. Nevertheless, he turns a blind eye to Lily Lou's people, simply because it's easier that way. It would only take a shifting of views to see the problems in this world, if only they could see it.
