Legendary warrior Kamen Rider Geats, along with his partner Digimon and other Digimon, saved the Digital World and created a whole new Digital World. Now, the stories of the war between Geats and his partner Digimon, exist only in fairy tales or word of mouth from the Digimon. At Present time, Ishida Yamato and his friends transferred to middle high school, but by that time, they had lost contact with their Digimon partners. Therefore, Yamato is surprised to suddenly receive a distress call that summons him to the Digital World. While there, he learns that Digimon is living in fear of the mysterious Digimon Kaiser, who is somehow blocking their Digivolve abilities! In the real world, Yagami Hikari and Takaishi Takeru reunite in the same fifth grade. They share three school friends: Motomiya Daisuke, who reminds them both of Taichi; Inoue Miyako, a technical wizard; and Hida Iori, Miyako's neighbor. When the three of them receive the D-3 Digivices, they - along with Hikari and Takeru, who still possess their own original Digivices - form the new generation of DigiDestined who must save the world once again. With the power of Digimetal, they must thwart Digimon Kaiser's plan to spread their influence across the entire Digital World.

Love and Promises is about a story of two students that grew with different points of view. But the time they met each other, they realize that even the biggest difference they have will have no meaning when they fall in love. But as time passes by, they ought to face different conflicts along the way, that will somehow measure the strength of their love to each other.
