Kota and Jake were never supposed to get along.
At school, they were known as opposites-but not in the usual way. Yuri was the quiet, rule-following girl, while Jake was the feared bad boy with a reputation built on fights. But what no one expected... was that they'd become enemies first.
It started with a clash. Yuri stood up to him-something no one ever dared to do. Jake didn't back down, and neither did she. Their arguments turned into confrontations, and soon enough, they were on opposite sides of every fight, every rumor, every moment. If Jake was chaos, Yuri became the one trying to shut him down.
But things weren't that simple.
Because behind Jake's anger was something else. Late after school, when no one was around, he played electric guitar-loud, raw, and full of emotion he never showed. Kota accidentally heard him one day, and for the first time, she saw something different in him. Not the fighter. Not the enemy.
Just Jake.
Still, they refused to trust each other. Every encounter was filled with tension-sharp words, lingering stares, and something neither of them wanted to admit. But when bigger threats started rising-real enemies, people who didn't care about school rivalries-they were forced to work together.
Fighting side by side changed everything.
Kota wasn't innocent anymore. She learned to fight, to stand her ground, to stop being the girl who stayed quiet. And Jake... started letting someone in for the first time. But the more they got closer, the more dangerous it became.
Because there was someone else.
A third person who blurred the lines even more-turning their rivalry into a messy love triangle filled with jealousy, betrayal, and choices that couldn't be undone. People warned kota to stay away. After all, how could you trust someone who used to be your enemy?
But kota didn't care.
