As the two worked together for a few years a relationship developed and they eventually eloped after two years of dating. Due to the secretive nature of their work, Watari is the only person that knows about their marriage not even (Y/N)'s family knows. Now, L and (Y/N) have been assigned to the Kira case and they have to manage to keep their relationship a secret from her father and brother who will be working closely alongside them. I close my laptop shut as I just stare at him. "L..." He focuses on the papers in his hand instead of looking at me. "Either go to bed or wear your glasses. You're going to need a new prescription at this rate." He sighs and puts the papers to the side in a neatly folded pile before his gaze meets mine again. "No." I grumble slightly as I pinch the bridge of my nose. He knows I'm right but he's too stubborn to do what I say. "No?" I ask as I give him an irritated smile. "I think you accidentally said the word no. Want to change your answer?" L groans softly and runs a hand through his messy hair. "I can see just fine."
