Kaito conquers a variety of side-missions unrelated to the plot! Most missions are fun, while a few.. not so much. Alas, he is prepared to take anything! These are side-stories; this is not canon. The Disaster Hollow's Side Stories is a collection of short arcs and quiet chapters that run parallel to the events of The Disaster Hollow. These stories focus on side characters, past generations, and moments that carry emotional weight but do not fit neatly into the central narrative. Here, you'll find: -love stories that bloomed between disasters -aftermaths that happened after the danger passed -relationships that shaped characters long before (or long after) they stepped onto the main stage -bits of history, humor, and intimacy that would otherwise be left unsaid Each side story stands on its own. You don't need to read them in order, for readers who want to linger a little longer in the world of The Disaster Hollow, they add depth, warmth, and context. Upload schedule notice: These stories will be posted irregularly, in parallel with events in the main story. Updates cannot be predicted, as each side story appears when its place in the timeline feels right. Think of them as echoes - not required, but meaningful if you listen.

He halts, calm footsteps fills his ears. The sound of rain suddenly vanishes. A small incoherent conversation follows soon after and he quickly understands he needs to hide. His once struggling heart now jumping back to life in an attempt to make him rush to the safety of the forest that surrounds him. Cold leaves supporting freezing water soon met his skin, briers tugging at his flesh and clothing. Their slightly muffled conversation growing closer and coherent. He quickly knelt behind an old oak that towers over his starved form. The barrel of his pistol hovering only inches under the stubble on his chin.
