Dappledleaf has fallen in love with a starclan cat. She becomes pregnant with his kits. Brackentail is so happy he grants his mate one wish. Dappledleaf wanted to be the most attractive cat in all the clans. Brackentail is shocked, but as he had promised, he granted her his wish. But every big wish comes with curse. Dappledleaf births two kits, Silverkit and Smokekit. One kit is born with a curse.

Juniperleaf's life started out normal enough- a normal kit living in a normal Clan, but not long after her apprenticeship things take a turn for the worse. With rival NightClan pressing in on their borders, the upcoming Freeze-Time, and their blood-hungry leader. Juniperleaf chooses the path of the medicine cat, but when her heart tears her away from the ancient code, she is forced to leave her Clan and her Clanmates behind and travel deep into unknown lands.
