New chapters will be released each week. There are 21 chapters in Book 1. These chapters are part of a three-book trilogy which tells the story of three friends, Jean-Luc, Adrien, and Anna Lise, during the years of Napoleon's European wars from 1796 to 1806. Book one covers the time from Anna Lise's birth through the aftermath of Austerlitz, often considered Napoleon's greatest victory. Book 2 covers Napoleon's campaigns against Prussia and Spain. Jean-Luc and Adrien learn to live with all the horrible consequences of war. Book 3 covers Napoleon's 1812 invasion of Russia and the rescue of Anna Lise by Jean-Luc in Moscow and their harrowing trip home to Colmar, France.
