The Earl of Memesbury... As ill as he had been for all those weeks. Nothing was ever able to heal him, and all in all...the disease was devouring him unforgivingly...alive. As I pen these lines I cannot say exactly what had happened to the Earl that day, and to my mind it will never be clear. Since that ghost had took his already miserable life mercilessly. There are still moments which do send a wave of terror upon my very heart. And my blood runs cold even to this day as I am holding my quill, as the clock tower is about to chime...midnight...
