You can't hide behind the simulation....Poetry inspired by the everyday struggle to avert my eyes from the horrid, neon diversion before all of us. I implore you to read on only if you seek to free your own mind and will and move beyond the veil and distort reality as you know it.

I go to scream that's when my mouth got covered by this slimy, sour, bloody, sweat filled hand. Therefore making me not wanting to even try to do anything. I was helpless, useless, frozen. Was this the end? I could not help but think that it was the end. I feared that I was next.
