Her mother, Maddie Parker, was the captain of the local police department and died when Amy was eight. After that Amy started to train herself to not only catch her mom's killer, but to also keep her legacy alive. When Bex and her team show up asking for her help, she agrees to go with them because that's what her mother would do. She has no idea how this moment has changed her life. This life isn't easy on anyone. There are secrets, brutal crime scenes, and hard decisions to make. This team of five stand by each other though. Hassani and Morales become like the older brother and sister Amy needed after her mother died, and Bex and Shane can't help but see her as a daughter.
