Knowing someone's true name is said to give you power over them, especially if you say it outloud. Myla works as a guard for chevalier ( royal family ). Due to the situation in country, the castle has been having a lot of problems with spies that have been trying to take the family down. One day 4 spies break into the castle and, as one of them is being dragged away, he calls Myla by her true name - Althea Beaufort Bellerose.

in several mythologies, there is the concept of a "true name" - something that describes a person in their entirety. This isn't my true name. This is the closest i will ever get to my true name.
