Tulpa storie

وأظّلُ أرسـمُ بالخيـالِ عوالمِـي ما حِـيلةُ المضطـر غيرَ خيـالـهِ ؟.

Teratons-mythical creatures that have evolved to have humanoid forms-now coexist with mankind, and wry social recluse Hunter Helfer is not a fan. Unfortunately, his stepmother arranged for him to attend an entire school full of them! Luckily, he finds a haven in the elusive and eccentric Assistance Club, a student organization dedicated to solving problems. Unluckily, its president is Nonoka Saionji, a chauvinistic and misanthropic nekomata-and a source of his unresolved teraton trauma. Will Hunter overcome his biases and resentments, or will the wonderful, wild, and wanton world of teratons continue to repulse him? A zany, light-hearted, and sometimes downright bizarre supernatural-comedy set in an idiosyncratic high school.

A little bit of fantasy wrapped inside a world of weird, generously topped with a sarcastic friendship laden with problems you wouldn't even believe.

Despite what we may try to do, although we may not want to be seduced by these things, we still make our own monsters, don't we?

Malamar is a kid in his early teens with a interesting head, with ideals might not be the most popular or safe, his constant doubt in himself is what holds him back from truely achieving something memorable in his life and can't seem to find any motivation at all. That is until he met her. She became his everything. But was he her everything?

What would happen if humanity woke up with hyperempathy (i.e. "vibe-psychic")? Psychofauna is a crazy blend of fantasy & sci-fi. It follows a few maladjusted protagonists who are forced to navigate a world of living ideas. A kaleidoscopic variety of myths, memes, sentient ideologies are all vying for control of collective consciousness. You know, just like our world. 😛 --- Inspirations include: • Nexus Trilogy by Ramez Naam • Quantum Thief trilogy by Hannu Rajaniemi • Too Like the Lightening by Ada Palmer • Neverness quadrilogy by David Zindell • Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer • The Mirror Sea by @phaseborn • Daemon duology by Daniel Suarez • Station Eleven by Emily Mandel • The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss • Unstable Orbits in the Space of Lies by Greg Egan • Understand by Ted Chiang • Promethea by Alan Moore • The Invisibles by Grant Morrison • There Is No Antimemetics Division by qntm • 2nd Apocalypse series & specifically its Dûnyain by R Scott Bakker • Dune & specifically its Bene Gesserit by Frank Herbet • Foundation & specifically the mentallics of the 2nd Foundation by Isaac Asimov • Tolstoy, for his brilliant depictions of psychodynamics
